Philips Hue Bridge Connection

Problem

A user reported the Philips Hue could not be added to Animus Heart, either through scanning nor manually by IP. 

Solution

Please try the things below before contacting support. 

Troubleshoot
  1. Make sure your Animus Heart and the Philips Hue bridge is connected to the same Network. 
  2. See if your Philips Hue Bridge has the latest update.
  3. If you are having trouble adding it through the mobile app, try also the desktop UI. 

If nothing above helped, contact support and provide them with the logs.  


Advanced troubleshoot:
You can sometimes find what's wrong in the logs. Check the logs in the Terminal (only possible through desktop UI).
