Can't link Google Home to Animus Heart

Problem

You only have one Heart in your Animus Cloud account and it is remotely connected. You try to link Animus Heart on your Google Home app but the app failes to link it.

Solution 1

The problem can be because of your named devices. Google doesn't accept if your device is named with only a number, e.g 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. This is however ok: Device 1, Device 2. Rename your devices and then try to link the account again.

Solution 2

This problem is because Google Home already have a link that isn't valid any longer. When you try to link it again it uses the old link which failes.

1. Open https://myaccount.google.com/
2. Go to "Security" in the left menu
3. Scroll down and open "Linked accounts"
4. Press "Unlink" on "Animus Heart"
   
5. Done!

Now go back to your Google Home app and try to link your Animus Heart again.
