Add/Remove new Z-Wave devices through the GUI
To add new Z-Wave devices to the Z-Wave Network or remove existing devices through the Animus Heart GUI, follow the steps shown in this article.
Add/Remove Z-Wave devices through the terminal
The same steps are executed for including or excluding devices in a Z-Wave Network and also adding/removing the Animus Heart from an existing Z-Wave network.
- Enter the Web Terminal in the Animus Heart GUI.

enter zwave
in the console.
Type
learn start
in the console to start the inclusion/exclusion process.
- Set the device you want to add in pairing mode. Usually you have to press a button on the device three (3) times quickly. To be sure on how you add that particular device, please read the manual of the device for more details.
- When the inclusion/exclusion is succeeded/failed, it will print the status logs in the console.
Add/Remove Z-Wave devices with S2 security
The same steps are executed for including or excluding Animus Heart from an existing Z-Wave network.
- Enter the Web Terminal in the Animus Heart GUI.

enter zwave
in the console.
- Set the including controller in inclusion/exclusion mode. Refer to the manual of the including device for details on how to set it in inclusion/exclusion mode.
Type
learn start
in the console to start the inclusion/exclusion process.
- When the inclusion/exclusion is succeeded/failed, it will print the status logs in the console.
